Well after several years of watching it flap in the breeze and a month or two of stewing about it , My wife and I tackled the headliner on my 90 9KT yesterday afternoon. Getting it out wasn't as bad as I expected, and the scraping of the old foam abcking went smoothly. We had hoped to use some grey naugahyde that we had but it wasn't as flexible as the thinner black piece we had. So after three hours and some real sticky fingers, We have a nice black headliner with a pattern of shiny gold studs in it. We used paper fasteners in the hollow areas to ensure that the stuff stays put even when the glue starts break down in a year or two. You need about 50 but since they come in 100 packs I threw in a few extras for looks. Aside from a few creases that actually make the naugahyde look cool, I am pleased with the results. We have done all our other Saabs over the years and this was #6. The sliding roof cover wasn't too bad so it stayed as was/is as did the visors. Had I needed to remove the sliding cover this obviously would have been more involved but for an eleven year old car it's good'nuff. CW
