Can't bleed 9000 clutch??? Posted by Joe [Email] (#444) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Joe) on Mon, 18 Jun 2001 21:59:01 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I replaced the clutch master cylinder in my 1993 9000CS Turbo. I then attempted to bleed the system as you would a set of brakes. I left the cap on the reservoir, had someone pump the clutch several times, then opened the bleeder. I would get some air out but never got a solid pedal. Actually I never got a pedal at all. The clutch would stay to the floor. I repeated this 10 times. The reason I replaced the master was the pedal was getting soft and sometimes I had to pump it a few times for it to feel normal. Any suggestions?
thanks,
Joe
