it is a positive fixed voluume system. best way is to apply negative pressure on the Zerk and suck the fluid down and through. This opens checks and flows better than pressure on the reservoir. One can apply much greater delta pressure via suction than by applying pressure to reservoir. Pedal must be in the normal positin.-not over center on floor.
