Hi Guys - The front centre armrest
Its a really easy to install - provided you have a good socket set and go to a Saab dealer for the cage nuts (about US$15!). Saab also provide some instructions - which recommend cutting the carpet. DONT!!
1. Unscrew centre console at the back (2 nuts either side).
2. Unscrew the passenger and drivers seat (only the screws nearest to the back of the console – you can use an alan key to do this).
3. Remove gearbox gaiter and slacken screws at front of console.
4. Lift up console up at the back by about 10cm and cut the carpet underneath the console in two (along the centre of the car).
5. Pull out the carpet from either side.
6. Insert cage nuts and affix armrest.
7. Put everything back together!!
It took me (a paper pusher) 2 hours to do this by trial and error to a good standard without butchering the carpets.
