It's been about five days or so that this problem has been going on in my (recently purchased) '95 Aero.

The brake fluid light on the dash has always stayed on longer than anything else immediately after start up. Very recently, however, the TCS OFF and ABS lights have been remaining on as well. They go out after about 30 seconds or so at the most.

The brake pedal has also started to pulsate (similar to the feel of ABS activation) during startup (I usually start the car with one foot on the brake, for safety).

Anyway, I've had no limp-home occurrances, nor have any of the lights activated at any time other than startup. In fact, all of this only happens if the car has not been started for several hours. Am I looking at early warning signs of some kind of failure, or could this be something simple?

Also, when looking at the engine bay (as if I'd be able to visually detect the problem) I noticed that the brake fluid resevoir is filled quite a bit higher than the MAX line. I'd never noticed this before, and I'm surprised I didn't. I've worked on the car a few times already (BPC Solenoid, spark plugs, coolant flush and T-stat replacement) but I guess I never looked at the brake resevoir. Could this be an issue? Should I siphon some out?

Finally, I have one small unrelated issue while I'm at it. Since I changed the T-Stat (OEM Saab from dealer), there has been a tiny leak from the bottom of the T-Stat housing that has not been stopped by Bar's Leaks. Loss is not that great, but bothersome. If the resevoir is at the MAX line, it will be down to half way between MAX and MIN after one week of regular driving. I triple-checked the seating of the thermostat before I closed up the housing. I also torqued it down as hard as it was prior to removal. Should I give the Bar's Leaks some more time, or do I need to pull the thermostat and try again? I'd really not like to lose all that (expensive) Mercedes coolant if I don't have to.
