Yours is a frequent question on the board. Same thing happened to me. Your alarm system has gone into "transport mode." Can't remember the exact key sequence for the fix, but this approximation process should get you there. Close your windows, trunk etc. as you would if parking the car on the street and lock your doors by using the key in the driver side door. Turn the key to clockwise and hold for 10 seconds. Turn the key to the counter clockwise and hold for 10 seconds. Now turn the key back and forth a few times.

Your alarm should hopefully now return to normal mode. If this doesn't work then some kind soul will post the exact key turn sequence that does the trick. I'm only responding because none of the gurus has had a chance to get back to you yet.
