Fuel Cut Off Saga (continued)

Hi Guys,
I've noticed quite a few now on the board have posted similar problems to mine: a hesitation when putting the pedal down, which my Saab Tech and others on the board, such as Aero Guy, have described as fuel cut off due to overboosting. More technical info can be found on the Townsend site. Among the numerous things I've tried (new APC, new ECU and new plugs) I tried Aero Guy's suggestion to lengthen the waste gate rod. Giving it two turns made absolutely no difference, which makes me think that the problem lies elsewhere.
The boost is acting very strange lately though: the turbo gauge will sit well into the red when floored and bang itself against the fuel cut off point over and over until I relieve pressure on the pedal. Very weird. When accelerating I note that the boost gauge is pulsing back and forth in a wild see-saw fashion. This is new, as before it would only cut out once if pushed and then act normally. As I've now exhausted about every avenue I'm thinking that it's probably the DI. Someday I'm hoping to actually get to drive this thing sans problem.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Bill
