That code indicates that the air distribution drum (the one that picks Vent, Defrost, that sort of thing) is binding or jammed. See the Townsend site:

for a full list of codes. Specifically, see http://216.78.173.190/climate_control_folder/acc16c6u.htm
to check the servos.
To access the servos, you need to remove the glovebox. Step one - DON'T REMOVE THE GLOVEBOX DOOR! OK, with that out of the way, open the door - you'll see Torx screws around the outside lip. Undo them. But what about the two at the bottom, blocked by the glovebox door? For those, get yourself a torx bit - like a short socket but with a torx driver on the end. These are only about 1/2 to 3/4 inch long. The bit alone will be short enough to fit between the bottom of the glovebox door and the torx screw head, and you can unscrew the screw that way. Then pull the glove box out carefully - there is a light assembly in the top, and wires running to a switch on the right side. Don't just pull the box and toss it in the back seat, or you'll pull the wires of the switch.
Good luck!
