Heater.....

I have already touched on this one slightly with another post but I want to know if anyone has experienced similar problems with their heater/ACC unit in a Saab 9000 Griffin. The Dealer has spent the best part of 18 months trying to solve the problems and I believe they have replaced just about everthing....tested everything else.....and have pretty much come to an end of the line with no solution in sight.
Some of the problems are:
Basically the heater and Air never seemed to do what it was meant to. At 27degrees Celsius it would still be blowing cool air....slowly and then one step up to HI and it would blow hot and fast air....no in between so to speak. In the summer a similar thing would happen when trying to get it cool with the reverse effect......All this on top of the fact that it does not always do this (depends what mood the car is in at any given time!!!)....sometimes fine.....
The self test does not pick up anything but I have noticed when I reset it it "blinked" differently than another Griffin (Did not blink at all!!!)
I have been told that the dealer has changed the computers and control units a number of times with no real answers given as to why this is happening......At one stage I was told that one of the "exchange" computers could not be programmed to think it was in Australia and in fact thought it was being driven somewhere in the Alps......so they had to get a new one of these so that the Australian Settings could be inputed....
Has anyone else had a similar experience and if so (apart from selling my pride and joy) what is the solution so that I can point the dealers in the right direction.....I am sure they are missing something "simple"!!!!
