I will say that if you don't know the system well enough to identify the basic parts, you shouldn't be messing with the system. This ain't no tractor engine. Bypass the turbo safeties, and you will blow up the engine in very short order. This isn't a case of 'doing it until I need glasses' - the engine will go from Wheeee! to BANG! gurgle gurgle in a few seconds. But since I believe in letting people have their own rope-
RPM related fuel-cutoff is built into the ECU and you can't really bypass it, nor do you want to. Higher RPM won't get you more power - you'll just float the valves, and power will drop.
Now, there is a pressure sensor that cuts off fuel if boost pressure goes too high. Depending on year, it was just a simple switch, or in later years, a pressure sensor. In the switch, just disconnect and plug the hose, and you'll have no overboost fuel-cutoff. WIth the pressure sensor, there isn't a lot you can do, because that pressure sensor is used for scheduling fuel.
Good luck, and let us know when you part out the car. I could use some body parts.
