:O.42- 0.48 Bar That is 3.0 mm compression on the waste gate motor spring
1/2 tirn adds another .037mm compression and about .03 bar. 1 full turn shorter raises the base toabout .55 bar. This increase seems to add exponentially to the max boost with the TD-04 compressor while linerally to the T-25 compressor. It is best to set this with a precision gage so that you do not exceed the max boost. 96 R engine (Aero) had a special method of measuring the max boost. It was cut back from 1.08 absolute max Bar to .91 bar at 3500 RPM (manual,4000-auto) and 20 C.approximately sea level. Of course the max will go a little higher as it pumps harder. MY96 was the first year in which the trionics allowed a max over boost for a short time and then cut back to the max boost set in the prom.
That is all I know now, what was your question? I am a bit confused as to application you are seeking. The 96 Pressure switch is set to 0.95 +/-.03 bar. so if you increase the base boost too much (more than about 1 turn )you run the risk of fuel cut off bang! If you are berry careful you can adjust the switch too BUT BE VERY CAREFUL, or you can invest in a new switch prior to TWC 1985-89 with APC-ignition and/or EZK control, those are set to 1.1 bar. (TWC= Trionic Wastegate Controller) (not absolutely sure of year application but know it was before 90 without TWC. I believe the PN is 93 42 064.
