I would suggest you pass for 3 reasons.

First, this board is an incredible resource which makes having a 9000 (or 2) a lot less painful than it would otherwise be. Since the vast majority of us here have the four cylinder engine, you may find that this board will not be of help with driveability problems.

Second, the body issues you have noted indicate a questionable history, or ownership by someone who was not neurotic. These cars need near constant maintenance and there is nothing better than a 9000 previously owned by a neurotic obsessive compulsive.

Third, it's not a turbo. I have a turbo and a non-turbo. I am still not sure why I bought the non-turbo, and I would not get another one.
