My Fische doesn't list springs per year or model but lists them by color coding with note replace in pairs with same color code matching original Now that I have said that there are some selections of FRONT springs that are options for various vehicle weights. The ride height is a function of the free length and the K factor of the spring. Abbott springs are usually reduced ride height but I believe they also make a set of stock. All Saab springs have a color coding of five bands
Bands 1 and 5 and 2 and 4 the middle band, 3, is the fittment vehicle.
I have a listing of about 40 springs in my Fische but no real idea as to where they go or what they fit for sure, these are all 9000 cars from 85 through 98. I have tried over the years to check and catalogue some and thus have a few but then when I thought I had one model pegged (sport Chassis-91,92) a late 92 sport came in and had 93 Aero springs coding. So I don't know for shure Here is what I have for rears:
92 TSA - red white white white red 5 speed 3800N
93 aero - yellow green white green yellow 5 speed 3900 N
95 aero-red blue white blue red Automatic 3970 N
97 Aero- yellow green white green yellow 5 speed 3900 N but this car front springs color code does not match any thing I have as combines ???? that was orange white yellow white orange (Not listed) this cmbination was spongy on corners but stiff and rigid on rebound Changed to Abbott for correction and added Konis from Abbott very good ride and handling. Saab uses tailored wire sizes and I have counted aver 15 different sizes.
Aeros seem to average around 13.7 the cs and CSE seem to average 13.4 CDs for some reason are the smallest around 12.4 free lengths are all over the spectrum too every one is different. I am sitting here looking at a spring out of a 95 Aero and although used and broken it firts the book for some I have measured. What I am trying to tell you is check your springs and I can help you decide what you have and if there is one, what would be stiffer. That is the best I can do to hep out. cheers
