Wear a seat-belt?

I won't go into the whys and wherefores of seat-belt usage vs. airbags, but I survived an 80MPH collision with a horse (!) the very first time I ever wore a seat-belt (just one of those weird things). This was well before seat-belts became compulsory here in the UK, and long before airbags started to appear in cars. It didn't take a law to make me wear a seat-belt after that.
I don't think an airbag as well as the seat-belt would have helped. If I had a faulty SRS system I couldn't fix, I'd rather rely on just the seat-belt than worry the airbag might go off in my face as I'm driving along and *cause* an accident, by which time, of course, the airbag would have deflated again and be of no use when I hit something.
