Hi Bill.
1. The Aero is standard 10 mm lower than the regular 9000. This means that the Abbott (or H&R) springs will lower the regular 9000 by 40 mm and the Aero by 30 mm.
2. Dunno by those springs, but I can REALLY recommend H&R springs. I believe their cheaper also. They're progressive, which means that under normal driving conditions they remain comfortable. With harder driving they also become harder....
3. I'd deffinately buy KONI's and as cheap as possible! You have to get the yellow ones (I believe you can get red also). The yellow ones are adjustable, so you can set the comfortlevel you want. Also, you'll NEVER have to buy another set of dampers again, as when you reach 50k miles, you simply turn the knobs half a turn and they're like new again!
The part# for the KONI's for the 9000 CS are:
Front - 8642 1114 SPORT
Rear - 8040 1057 SPORT
The H&R springs have the #: 29805-1
Btw! About your plugs. I think your plugs look right, as one has to take into concideration that they were almost new - only 500 miles.
Cheers!
