Hell they cant fix them at the dealers either, unless theyve got somebody around that was around then. These cars are very problematic at times and will require patience from both the owners and mechanics. They can be repaired it just takes know how, patience and money. Almost every piece of equipment on those cars has been updated since new. Identified by a yellow dot on the pieces. The safety valve is a good place to look first, red white valve on firewall, but it could literally be anything from $20 to $820.If the shop has a good reputaion then you should return to them, just be advised a dealer may be no better or even worse.
