I always like to try the cheap fix first, then if there is no improvement, replace parts.
The power steering fluid flush is very easy, esp if you have a helper.
You disconnect the low pressure PS fluid return hose from the resevoir and couple it to another hose which will allow you to feed it into a bucket on the ground. Then you need to have LOTS of clean PS Fluid on hand and ready to pour into the resevoir. Have a friend start the car and turn the steering wheel from knock-to-knock. The old fluid will pour out of the return hose VERY quickly. You are done with the flush when all the fluid comes out clean.
This may be all that you need to fix your problem, but if it is still bad, then you may as well replace both the rack and pump (and the high pressure line) at the same time and save yourself the headache of doing the job again.
I usually get my parts from http://www.importpartsspec.com - they have lower prices than anyone else and the parts are always top quality.
I was able to get a NEW PS pump for less than the cost of a reman pump. I am sure that they can also locate a rack if you need it, and I know they can get the high pressure line (comes with the o-rings).
This supplier is located in Idaho, but they can ship anywhere.
I ordered some parts yesterday, and had them when I got home today!
-good luck
