The 91 has the 16 inch wheels and standard 205-50-16 tires which explains part of the stiffer ride compared to the stock 206-60-15 on the 93. Rear wiper on 93 is nice and so is the bigger trunk with the electric hatch release by the driver's door. The body of the 93 has been improved for side impact over the 91.
Trionic was introduced in 1992 in the US, same with the improved side impact body structure. Face lift was done in 1993, obviously.
Traction control is another new feature in 1993, however, many don't like it. The 1993 stereo allows you to hook up a dash single CD player with a 6 CD changer (totalling 7 CDs), the new hatch design gives you more room for rear speaker upgrades. They have also relocated the hazzard lights location to next to the clock in 1993. Can't remember if there's a difference in the trip computer, but in 93, they eliminated the passenger's side memory seats (still electrical but no memory). Improved headlights in 93 as well.
