...tentative, as I am yet to finish my first tankful, but over first 100 miles, economy seemed worse around town, and performance definitely worse (in so much as it would not boost beyond yellow / dashed-red on the boost guage). However, idle is much smoother, and the engine considerably smoother. Just assume it's the engine management making some adjustments.

200 miles up and down to Birmingham yesterday saw very good economy (for me - about 35 ish mpg at 75-85mph), very smooth running, and flooring it in 3rd, 4th and even 5th sees the boost needle off the end of the guage and holding, with no discernible detonation, and no cut out! It was cold and wet yesterday, which helps.

So - for me, main benefits over 95ron (which I have used up until now) seem smoothness, and a little more performance. Any other opinions? Is it worth £4 extra per tankful I must get my car on a dyno to see what power it's putting out.
