I would figure 2 hours or so to remove the radiator, not working too fast. It depends - an automatic tranny car would take longer, as you have to drain and disconnect the tranny oil cooler lines. I can't see needing a hoist or air tools. Just drain the cooling system, remove the fans & thermoswitch, undo the hoses, and unbolt and lift it out.
Before I did that, I do a few other things. Is your radiator fan coming on at the right time? How new is your thermostat? I say thermostat, because at low engine speed there isn't a ton of coolant flow. A thermostat that doesn't open fully will restrict flow at slow engine speeds.
Before going after the radiator, I would replace any thermostat over two years old. Use an 82C thermostat, not the stock 87 (89?). If it hasn't been done in a couple of years, flush the radiator and refill with new coolant/water. While the radiator is drained, replace the fan thermoswitch with an 82C version - Townsend sells them for about $10. I have an '88T, and doing that did a world of good.
Is it the lock or the latch that's sticking? Does the central locking not unlock or lock the door? Or does the door unlock fine, but it seems to 'jam' when you pull the door handle from the outside?
Good luck!
