Re: 94 9000 CS ACC in menopause. Posted by Jon [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() In Reply to: 94 9000 CS ACC in menopause., Jon ![]() ![]() |
Clime system seems to work okay for the most part, but it doesn't like to dole out warm air unless set to "HI" Position. When set for say, 82, it will blow out luke-warm to cool air at times. I have run the system calibration, and revealed no faults. I had my bud at the dealer run the tech2 over it when he cleared my srs codes, and he said it is working normally. Is this normal? I've owned other cars with ACC systems before, and understand all of the operating principals, but I think it should be able to maintain a warm temp when requested. The condition seems to have gotten worse after I replaced the cabin fan and heater core, but I didn't think I disturbed the temp cable. I dunno. I was thinking of fooling the system by installing a resistor inline with either the blended air or cabin temp sensors.
TIA!
Jon.
