I've used them and liked them, we still carry them where I work, so they must be decent. :) There really are a lot of good car speaker brands, a few that come to mind are Infinity, Polk, Diamond Audio and MB Quart. It's best if you can go to a store and listen to them, even if you end up buying online from Crutchfield or somewhere else. Many speaker manufacturers have a tendency to specify speaker parameters in such a way that is misleading compared to the actual capability. They haven't figured out how to fool people's ears yet. (though people can do that on their own by believing enough propaganda). Anyhoo..
I'm currently using Audax woofers front and rear, Vifa tweeters in the rear, and Nakamichi tweeters in the front, though I will likely upgrade to Vifa tweeters in the front eventually. The crossovers I designed myself using Solen components.
