Yes, they're a summer tyre. We don't get extreme weather in the UK, so we generally use what you would call "summer" tyres all year round. I believe something like "all season" tyres are available, but I have never used them.
On the rare occasions when we do get serious snow (the sort some of you have all winter), we just grind to a halt for a day or two.
My site should be OK to get to now - I fixed the connectivity problems by rebooting the firewall. And here's me blaming my ISP...
66K is nothing much on a 9000. A bundle of things seem to go around the 100K mark. Since yours is a manual, you will hopefully not have to deal with anything more expensive than engine mountings or the like a far as typical failures are concerned. Mine has 155K and is going well (OK, the engine went bang at 130K, but I think that might have been my own fault).
Is a "thule rack" a roofrack?
