It accelerated quickly to the limiter, which, if memory serves, was between 5000 and 5500 rpm. It didn't occur to me to check the speed with the GPS until I was already going fast. Just didn't feel like rummaging around in my brief case to get the GPS out while driving that fast. I felt it would have gone much faster when the limiter engaged, because of the rate at which it was still acclerating. The ECU is the same part number as the '97 Aero, so maybe the 149 mph limiter was added after your model year. I'm told that the Swedish tuners remove that limit when they re map the ECU.
