Well, I use a MityVac vacumn pump to test the lines. You might want to get one. They are also useful for bleeding brake lines. I cahanged the fuel filter this AM and that seemed to help the laft turn thing. After I put the battery back in, it ran great! I mean GREAT! Started right up. Full of pep. No hesitation, nothing.
But, now, after some time and three or four long drives, it is back to doing it's hesitation thing. I am having a sinking feeling it's the ECU that's the real problem and that every time I clear the memory by having the battery disconected, it is fine for a while and then gets crappy again.
The only reason you would want to change the o-rings on the fuel pump is if fuel is leaking out. I did find a little plastic ring in the fuel tank this AM. Don't know where that came from, but everything else was peachy.
All that said, my FI system is going to be clean and efficient when I finally get this worked out. Good luck!
