I thought I was chasing a similar problem on my '96 Aero until I realised that every time I connected the battery, the courtesy light (dome light) timer came on, even withe doors closed. Waiting for the light to go off again before reading the meter "fixed" the problem (I did feel a fool).
Assuming this isn't the problem:
As Lu suggested, the boot (trunk) light is hidden from view and is worth checking. On another car (not a Saab) I have had the rectifier pack on the alternator fail and cause a drain of about 1A.
The best way to isolate it is to remove fuses one by one and see if the drain goes away. When the drain drops to a reasonable level (probably 20-50mA is about right with everything switched off), then the fault is on the equipment or wiring fed by the last fuse you removed.
