Hey Folks,
I just did 1,300 miles over the holidays. I left from Westchester County(one hour north of New York City) Thursday morning. I made it up to Montreal in approximately 4 hours. I was averaging about 95 miles per hours. Dam, that was fast. It push effortlessly. It is funny that the difference from 75 mph to 95mph is just a slight pressure. Thank god the troopers didn't stop me. I shutter at the thought of what would have happen. I spent two days in Montreal and did a run to Toronto. The locals told me it would take 5 to 6 hours to reach. Man, I did it in 4 hours, averaging 95mph. The car was rock solid. I spent one day in Toronto and went to Niagara. for half a day. Then I drove 6 hours home. Again, the car was rock solid.
It is interesting. I did all the driving. My girl doesn't drive stick. I normally can't drive for more then two hours without my back hurting. I did all this drive and felt great. Those seats are amazing!!!! God, I love this car, man.
Lastly, I saw a green aero on I90 near Rochester. I honk and wave and this guy looked at me total confused. I just don't get it. Doesn't he know that the AEROs are rare? Doesn't he known that there is a cult following? I was a bit disappointed, considering that there weren't many aeros produce between '93 to '97 and that people who drive these cars know how special they are. I can only assume that the car wasn't his or that the car was an automatic(which is really a CSE in diguise).
Peace....
Patrick
