Every Saab I've owned - 900's and 9000's - I've had dash light problems.
My 92 9k now has this endearing little trick of playing "Lights Out Rotation". One night, the left half of the dash lights will be out, then it might be the right side the next time, or all of them. It's never the same for more than a day or two. I've never had another car that I've had dash lights go out on me, and I've driven plenty of different cars over the last 40 years.
The dealer of course wants $160 to get in there and fix them. How hard is it to DYI?
