*Checked the clutch/brake pedal per FAQ on this board and Townsend site. Cruise works fine.
*Spark plugs are correct (bought from SAAB) and gapped correctly.
*Fuel is 93 octane and also added booster to add to the effect.
Just now cleaned all connections with electrical contact cleaner (DI, BPC, etc.) retraced all vacuum hoses to make sure good connection, put a spot of dielectric silocone on the plugs and re-set the APC. Test drive proved that I am now receiving normal boost levels (?) into the end of the checkered zone and settling in the bottom of the checkered zone in all gears. I have no idea what it was.
I also found out that mid-way into the red on the APC gauge is the fuel cut-off point. If that is the case, then full boost should be where it is now occuring (end of checkered zone). My next obvious step is to rig a graduated boost gauge to confirm all of this.
