Just did mine this morning. I got under the car and basically put all my two hundred pounds on it by hanging onto the top long run of the belt. That was not enough to get the tool (made one up as recommended by Haynes - watch the dimensions between the two bolts, I found it to be too close and used about 120mm instead) started. So while I pulled down on the belt, I took my spare hand and a big flat-bladed screwdriver and applied upward pressure on the piston (there's a cut-out opposite the one where the tool will go that you can use). That ended up being just enough to get the tool into the two notches. After that it was simple R & R. But as the other chap said, there is a bit of huffing and puffing involved.
