You will probably need to disconnect the FPR at the drivers side end of the rail
If you look between the intake runners, you should see two long bolts sticking up at you, these are smooth along their shafts and only have threads at the tips where the meet the engine. These are easy to find/locate cause with them being sooooooo long,(about 8 inches or so) they look out of place. kinda like those long bolts used to put together swingsets? Either how once you've removed these, the rail itself will/should be able to move towards the REAR of the vehicle or towards the firewall as stated before. When the rail is pulled away from the engine, the injectors(in my case)DID NOT come with it, they stayed attached to the engine itself, I reached in and pulled them out one by one...
I hope I read you correctly but, if I didn't there is also a large bolt on the end of the rail itself, this doesn't need to be removed.
P.S. Don't forget to upplug the electrical connectors from the injectors themselve also...
Your AMM might need adjusting afterwords, my car did idle kinda lumpy when I started it. Not a problem, simply remove that little silver plug on the side of it and turned the screw in there 1/2-3/4 turn counter clockwise should resolve it.
