This is actually pretty difficult, There are two metal clips on either side towards the front that are bent outward that wont let it out unless they are prised inward. see if you can find a small piece of thin durable metal, i used a screwdriver but it left a mark next to it so dont do that.. use it to pry between the dash and the cupholder to push that metal down and then it should come out. if this doesn't work you could try removing what is in your other DIN slot and pry from there rather than the front. this also lets you see the metal clip better.
