Their car reporting is so ridiculous that I can't trust their reviews of anything else. Everything I buy now, I buy without consulting CR.
I remember their comparison of two cars, priced the same. One was a Cadillac; I forget the other. The Caddy scored lower in every category, and in the narrative they listed numberous problems, from fit and finish to the transmission, and the other car sounded great in comparison. At the end of the article, they recommended the Caddy.
