Gary, i really appreciate all the advice as I am pretty new at 99s as you know. I am getting more into the actual mechanics. I used to bring a car in to the shop for things like this but now I own 3 saabs so I must work on them myself. I am mechanically inclined but really I have only ever changed the oil and an alternator on a saab. Can I handle this job of replacement of the master cylinder? I will clean up the vacuum and areas with por15 and cleaner. I looked up replacement parts and they are readily avaliable on line. Any recommendations? any special tools? I also should tell you that I am putting new rear dics and pads on too so the car can be certified come spring.
