thanks Larry I was panicked there. Nuts came out - no damage. found out the problem. The nuts were a little long so when they were snugged against the hub, they actually expanded at the end- kind of like a wall anchor expands to snug in drywall. I will never do that again. I ordered the correct length from summit. They have a great selection of the old nuts. I ordered the wrong size b4. shank was .75 Incas need .50 inch. don't tell any one. lol
