Oh, there's surely some exaggeration... (the car had a turbo tranny after all...though it came to me like that) and heaven knows how accurate that speedo is...I just know it was buried and the lady friend assured me we were doing well over 100. I was just toying with JonH...I don't understand posts like that. I was mad in the red on the RPMs, though. "She can't hold on much longer, Capt'n...She's gonna blow!"
Oh, another stupidity was revealed today...remember that alignment prob I had with the 76? Too much unadjustable camber? Well, I continued to check it out and just think, and think about what could possibly be causing it when, LO, I decided to measure the spindle. Bent out of whack-o. REtarded to not have seen it before...and now I have every measurement listed on that car. SHeesh. WIth all the different spindles they used on the 900s and 99s, I though for sure I had a replacement...not so. We'll see what the junkyards have next.
