Jon, no misunderstanding, really...I was just in a teasing mood. Seemed to open up a small can of worms, though. Lot's of interesting figures and facts came out it all.
Yes, I own 5 99s right now, though one is for parts only. One is in the classifieds right now and another, the same 77 of 120 mph fame, will go up soon if someone doesn't take it before then. I'm leaving Utah for Grad School and need to clear out my stockpile from the last 6 years. I guess I have all summer to get the stuff to the needy on this board, but most will probably get chucked.
My everyday car is a '76 with a 16VT...10:1 pistons, and a late model 5sp. It just got me to and from eastern Idaho (high of 12 degrees F) getting 29Mpgallon. Fun car. It's time to have a good look at those brakes, though, seeing as they were real spongy during traffic clogs around Salt Lake.
nothing but good vibes on this BB. I think the only truly "mean" post I've ever made online was a jack ashcraft rebuttle when he was letting everyone know they were stupid because they didn't see everything his way "(he'd) been working on saabs for over thirty years so..."
There.
