I've seen three or four different seals over the last few years. Pictured below is the one I put in the 73, which came from possibly a '78 vintage 99. It has a very large overlap onto the dash pad, and would be the easiest to tuck the pad under.
The seal I got in Hershey from Jack Lawrence I thought was the same seal as the 73's, but it is not. The overlap is alot less, but more than the stock seal that was in it if I remember correctly. I'd have to run down the street to my storage to get a pic...maybe later.
I'd suggest getting your butt out the car and trying to tuck some material under your seal.:)
