You didn't mention if the AMP light is blinking too, which would indicate the alternator isn't putting out enough juice. The brake light is not just for the parking brake switch, but it has to do with the hydraulics also. The oil sensor senses low oil pressure and tells the light to come on somewhere between 4-7 psi. You should have 43psi at 2000 rpm with the engine oil at normal operating temps. The oil pressure reducing valve opens between 57-71 psi. I'd certainly test oil pressure just to be sure. Auto Zone probably rents oil pressure gauges for free.
I see no connection between your two blinking dash lights...they are even on opposite sides of the cluster. Maybe check the main cluster plug to make sure it is fully plugged in.
