Dear Kevin and Dan__Thank you very much for your feedback. I have yet to 'be with' the car but a friend of my brother Stephen will be coming to give his expertise this coming sunday the 24th of Oct.. Ron is an avid Saab fan and has been for many years. As to the price I paid for the used electric pump---I claim complete ignorance. I do have the tendency to trust my intuition in all lifes endevors and at times of emotional excitment, like obtaining a 1978 Saab 99, I transcend my Primary Intellegence. AND, there is the possibility that Charles from Eurotech in Durango Colorado has reason to believe that the pump is absolutely worth the price. He told me that a new pump would be about 325.00.
I will let you know the outcome on all that transpires. Thank you again and I am delighted to be part of the Saab familia if only for the communion.I at one time was a member of the Studebaker Drivers Club and had similar delightful experiences. The owners of Studebakers would make parts readily available to others 'drivers' and usually at very reasonable cost and would readily share information as you do. Thanks,David
