compared to the one I was "conned" into buying.
78T's tend to hold their value more than any other 99 model, considering it's the only year 99 turbocharged, and just a tad over 3300? were ever imported to the US.
A rust free Texas body is a plus along with a decent interior and running engine. Mine had none of the above when I brought it home, so you're miles ahead of where I'm at right now. I'm damn determined to make it right though!
Good luck on the purchase. If I'd have seen it a few months ago, it may have been a better buy for me > compared to the one I'm restoring.
PS. Having a spare water pump in the trunk won't do you any good unless you can find someone who has the tool to remove and install it.
