The 9000 cam won't work in a 99. Different set-up all together. John Wirt (He's been chiming in a lot recently.) Send him a message through this site. You could also just post a message to him asking the question.
Those pistons don't sound too different from stock specs...'cept for the forged part. Response will always be slow with such low compression. if you find a way to up the compression you will get more power, quicker response and a lot less lag. You'll also get better mileage. If you are running some insane boost I don't know. John has found a really good piston for his race car (If I remember correctly, he was thinking about just selling the engine recently. He's in the 200 plus range with lots of tug. It is a super fast 99. You could talk with him about that. Might save you some money in the end to just get a refined product from him.
