I have used the POR15 instructions (Marine Clean/water/Metal Ready) to clean and prepare the tank. It is now drying out. I'm giving it until Saturday morning to completely dry out and then to pour the sealer in.
The tank is removed. I also removed the sender and the pump, but the pick-up is still in there. I'm actually not sure how it comes out. Does it screw out? I'm assuming (from your post) that it does need to come out. Is that correct?
I have not tested the pump yet, either way I will put a working pump in there once it is sealed and put back in the car, but for now I just want to make sure there is nothing else in the tank that should be removed before pouring the sealer in there. Thanks
