Hot Rod Air (http://www.hotrodair.com/

From your parts car, get EVERYTHING as a baseline. The interior stuff especially, and the engine bay mounting brackets.
Then get new custom hoses with threaded fittings, new receiver/dryer and get a new parallel flow condensor. You will need a local AC guy who can make custom hoses for you. Do everything for r134a. For the compressor consider a Sanden adapter plate and get a Sanden compressor. I'm not sure how the pulley will work out with the Sanden with that close firewall. Also, not sure how wide a belt you can put on a Sanden, but my factory system with the York has a tiny little thin belt, size is 10x1600 (63 inches long).
Where the hoses enter the car, consider a threaded bulkhead adapter. I did mine factory style, with grommets and hose passing through, but the hot rod guys put a nice threaded bulk head there, much cleaner and easier to work on.
From the old York compressor, be sure to at least save the pulley and its mounting hardware. For 99's it was very low profile to clear the firewall.
I think rebuilt Yorks are still available, and they are r134a compatible. But the Sanden is the industry standard now.
Instead of the two green factory switches, NLA of course, I used a single Trinary switch attached to my new receiver/dryer. It's a safety switch and it cycles the fan based on pressure.
For the main power, I ran it through a 30 amp circuit breaker, outside of the fuse box. Breaker is wired directly to the battery. That's about all I can think of for now.
Good luck! I run my air every day.
