I am getting really close to running my '79 99 GL for the first time since 1988, but I am getting no juice at the fuel pump. My voltage meter shows ZERO volts at the pump when I turn on the ignition. I then cleaned the contacts on the fuel pump relay and still get nothing at the pump. I then replaced the relay with one from my running '79 900 GLE (same exact parts) and it again shows ZERO at the pump. I then put the meter at each of the contacts where the relay plugs into, and I see voltage on 2 of the connectors. The right-most connector, and the connector closest to the rear of the car. There is proper voltage at the fuel pump fuse too. I'm not sure what I should check next. The car ran fine when it was last parked in '88. It was parked for only a clutch problem. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
