I was a little surprised I didn't receive more suggestions for my 2stroke problem..although seriously grateful for Bruce Turk's help. I haven't tackled the Two stroke yet as my 99Turbo needed some work done. But I did install some A8's as Mr. Turk suggested..and the two stoke was definitely smoother. The smoke still wont go away. Did a little tweaking to the mixture, but didn't help. Senstive liitle bitch of an engine I must say. Next week ..I'll have time to really wrestle with that puny engine. I'm using Exxon two stroke oil 8 gallons to 1 quart. With the carb, what should be checked? or is it too simply take apart and clean? I'm also raking another two stroke apart..and plenty of carbon when I took off the cylinder head. What is the best way to clean the carbon? The pistons look fine, so I'll reuse them. Any tips when taking the engine apart/What should i check? Thanks for any help
