If you've changed the cam, you'll almost certainly need to tweak the jets. Installing a hotter cam improves the engine's breathing, and you need to richen the fuel mixture to compensate.
How many turns out are you on the idle mixture screw? If it's more than two or three turns, your idle jet probably is too small. The idle jet controls not only mixture at idle, but at up to about 3000 rpm, so you'll get crummy transition behavior if it's not right.
There are a LOT of parts you can change on a Weber, even a little one like the 34ICH, and (never mind what anyone tells you) there is NO such thing as a "standard" setup for a V4 that has been modified -- you can only find out what YOUR engine needs by experiment! This can take a long time and involve buying a lot of parts if you rely on sheer trial and error -- so buying one of the various Weber tuning manuals and/or consulting a V4 performance expert probably would be a good investment for you.
