You do need an experienced person who has all the tools, jigs and fixtures to rebuild the tranny. If you rebuild this yourself without all of the special tools and fixtures your transmission will self destruct in just a few miles (been there, done that).
There are only a few people who can do this, one is Jack Ashcraft in Oregon but expect it to be expensive.
By the way, I am the person who said "do not send it to Maine."
I would get bounced off this board if I named names but the Sonett guy in Maine has had my transmission (and deposit) to be rebuilt for over 4 years now and I have just given up on ever getting either back so don't send it to Maine.
