I think I remember me asking the oil pressure question before and you answered my post then, recommending I try and move the pulley. I have done that, but I don't really "feel" any looseness.
My oil pressure increases pretty slowly when I initially start the car and when I hit the gas pedal, the oil pressure is much slower to respond than it was several months ago. When cold, it gets as high as 40 psi, but at idle when it's hot, it is about 10psi. On the highway it stays right at about 25 psi.
I have to finish pulling the b engine out of my 900 gle first before I can pull the 96 in the garage :-) I do have to replace my clutch in my 96 very soon, so I can check the oil pump then. I think I will get the oil examined in the meantime as you suggested.
