Not much, if any, to do on that 96. Very nice! Welcome. I've owned (still do) many Saabs but never a vintage until this past 3 years. The 96 definitely gets by far the most attention.
I restored my 96 and just about everything vital related to fluids had rust contaminated. It had been in storage but wasn't moving or regularly cycled for 20 years. Like any car fuel, fluids, oil, grease, brakes, clocks have to move! Winter restriction is up to you considering the condition of the rockers & floor boards. Despite the fact our cars were made by the ancestors of Norsemen, I'd keep out of the snow. However I'd drive on good dry winter day. Keep the battery charged via a "Battery Tender" and you'll be fine.
